Unam portal is a student portal provided by the University of Namibia and enables students to gain access to personalized information as well as other important updates regarding academics.
The University of Namibia (UNAM) is the largest and leading National institution of higher education in Namibia. It is a diverse institution with a student population from 43 countries and from all continents. Although a relatively young university, it has grown to support a student population of 24,759.
To log into my unam portal, visit my.unam.edu.na/ and enter your username and password.
How to change your unam portal password
Forgetting your student portal password is a normal thing. All you need to do is go to unam online portal to change your password.
On the homepage (my unam portal), click on “Forgot pwd?”
Enter your Email and instructions will be sent to you. Make sure you keep your new password safe and secured.
Just like other elearning platforms, Unam moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments.
If you are a student, use your student number and the password you use to login on the portal. If staff, use the same password used for email.

If you forget your portal password, please approach the Computer Centre.
Students are required to update their default student email address in the Moodle profile with an email address that you use on a regular basis.
You can do this by clicking on “Edit profile” to enter your preferred email address. Please ensure that your email address is correct.
This helps you to receive important notifications from the elearning moodle portal.
Students doing the DJPE Inset programme, please use the same login details you use on the Unam portal to login.
